Aviation art exhibit now on permanent
display at the MAAFMMILLVILLE, NJ:
A collection of aviation art entitled “Aviation Art — The Beauty ofFlight” is now permanently displayed at the Millville Army Air Field Museum (MAAFM)after travelling exhibitions at both the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts(RRCA) in Millville and Noyes Museum in Oceanville, NJ.The art exhibit includes prints and lithographs illustrating the history, technology, andbeauty of the warbirds of World War II.“We were honored to have Michael Cagno, the executive director of the Noyes Museumand former director of the RRCA, assist us in designing the space and hanging these rareart pieces and we thank him for his valuable time and talent,” said Lisa Jester, MAAFMexecutive director. “It is an honor to present this display to our visiting public.”The new aviation art exhibit is located in the Museum’s main conference room area.“The art exhibit area will be changing in scope and theme on a quarterly basis,” continuedJester. “While these pieces focus on WWII-era aircraft, we plan to offer unique art displaysranging from early aviation to modern-day flight. We invite collectors to contact usregarding placing their private collection art pieces on loan to complement these changingexhibits.”“Aviation Art — The Beauty of Flight” is on display during regular Museum hours,Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
