"Winter Field" Acrylic on Paper

A major exhibit is coming to Millville'sRiverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts.Entitled This Is Our Land, Marie Hahn, RRCA board president,explains, "This show is a real blockbuster. Some of the best known artists from our region are included. The work of these RRCA Associate Artist Members is sure to enhance your appreciation of our part of New Jersey."
This Is Our Land opens with a public reception on Friday, November 21 and runs until December 31, 2008.

Michael Cagno, curator of This Is Our Land, says, "This exhibitcreates an awareness of what the local landscape has to offer. Cumberland County is 'the last frontier,' and even it ischanging in the face of recent development. All of these artists exhibit outside this county, but each appreciatesthe Bayshore's inspirational qualities."

The artists whose work will be displayed are: Mike Cagno, painter, Don Friel, glassEllen Gavin, painterHank Rhoda, stained glassGlenn Rudderow, painterPat Witt, painter
Each artist provides a different interpretation of our land. Theirstyles and mediums vary, but each has been inspired by the landscapesand seascapes they know best -

those of southern New Jersey.
